With the remnants of Storm Hannah in evidence, the last Sunday of April at Wilsonian SC provided some testing conditions for all the sailors.

If you could survive the wipe out of the sudden, intense gusts and could hang on and go with it, the reward was a stunning, planing kite leg right down Gillingham Reach! Terrific speed and a good test of nerve!

There was no let up in the afternoon either, despite the forecast for declining wind. It was one of the best sails in ages!
